We sat down for a chat with Trish to find out what it is about Nice and Pebbles properties that keeps her, and her partner, coming back time and time again!

When did you first holiday in Nice?

The first time I stayed in Nice was in 2005- in the Windsor. I really loved the "Graffiti Room" decoration. By an amazing coincidence, some years later, I actually bumped into the artist himself in Toulouse. He was a real character!

How did you come across Pebbles?

As much as we loved the hotel we really felt we wanted something more. We love to cook and renting an apartment seemed like the best choice for us. With many great local shops and the Cours Saleya being such a delight, we decided to book with Nice Pebbles- since then we haven't looked back! It was really easy to find when Google searching rentals in Nice. I'm so glad we came across the company!

Is there a particular time of year you like to visit the Riviera?

We have stayed with Nice Pebbles several times and at different times of the year. I would say we prefer the spring time (February / March) and late autumn through winter (September - December) the most. We really love the way Nice changes with the seasons. A particularly memorable stay was during Carnival in February- it was fabulous. We have also stayed for the Festival of St Reparata- we even ended up going round as part of the procession in the Vielle Ville!

You said you like to cook, do you have any favourite shopping spots in the city?

We love shopping in Lac, L'Olivier, Alziari we are such foodies!

Talking of food, when you're not cooking in the apartment, where do you like to eat out?

We have eaten at the Negresco- it was quite an experience! We have made some favourites over the years. Flaveur, L'Univers, Le Bistrot Gourmand are all lovely, as is La Colombe D'Or in St Paul de Vence. La Mere Germaine in Villefranche-sur-mer and Le Figuier de Sant Esprit in Antibes too! Not only great quality food, but also value for money when eating at lunchtime!

What's your favourite spot in Nice?

We love the Photography Museum, there's always something good to see.

Any final thoughts for people considering Pebbles?

We both feel at home in Nice. When we rent an apartment from Nice Pebbles we feel as if it is our very own- you really cannot put a price on that.

Thanks Trish!
