Floor/Building
This apartment is located on the 2nd floor with no lift. The stairs are averagely steep, and there are only 34 of them.
Neighbourhood
The holiday apartment is right on the edge of the Old Town, with views of Nice's newest park, the Promenade du Paillon. It is ideally situated for both shopping and entertainment with an abundance of good restaurants just minutes away, including a few of our favourites.

It is only a few minutes walk to the main bus stops, very handy for the airport express bus and accessing all transport links to the rest of the Riviera. On foot, it is an approximate five minute walk to the Shopping District in the city centre, 15 minutes to the Port and about 20 minutes to the main Nice Ville train station. Alternatively, just hop on the tram, as the nearest tram stop is just seconds away from your doorstep.

Stroll through the Old Town and you will reach the beach and Promenade in five minutes. Place Massena is just a few minutes walk in the other direction.

Living Area
The bright living area has a large two seater sofa with matching rug, and two small coffee tables. A dark wood storage cabinet contains all the entertainment you'll need; the TV, DVD player, Blu-Ray (via the Freebox), Ipod Dock, radio and CD player.

For meals in, there is a dining table and chairs for up to four people. The large French doors fill the room with lots of light, and one of these doors leads out onto a small balcony with table and chairs for two.

Kitchen
The kitchen is open plan to the living area. With pretty green units, it is equipped with a four-ring induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer and a new washing machine.
Bedrooms
Decorated in soothing tones, the romantic style bedroom has a double bed with two bedside tables and lamps. There is also a double wardrobe with lots of storage space. The large French window has both curtains and shutters, ideal for those morning lie-ins.

If you are travelling with a baby, there is space for a baby cot in the living area. If you would like us to provide one, please request one at the booking stage.
Bathroom
The smart bathroom is newly renovated and has a large shower, toilet, square wash basin, and wooden vanity unit with mirror. There is a small opaque window for natural light.

How to get there
From the Airport

From the Train Station

By Car

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes approximately 25 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at Garibaldi / Le Chateau, which is a seven minute walk to the apartment.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

Most guests who take a taxi or a transfer choose to be dropped off at Place St Francois because the Old Town area is pedestrianised and the taxi driver will not be able to drive to the entrance of the apartment building.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville.

From the station, the tram provides a cheap, convenient way to get to your apartment. When you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes and tickets cost 1.50€. Take the tram to Vieille Ville - Cathedrale which is a one minute walk from the apartment.

We can meet you outside the apartment building, at the tram stop, or at Place St Francois, as you prefer.

The nearest car park to the apartment is Parking Promenade des Arts at 18 Avenue Saint-Jean-Baptiste. This car park is located just across the tram lines from the apartment. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
