5th floor with lift in a well maintained art deco building.
Neighbourhood
The building is situated half way down the Promenade des Anglais opposite Poincare beach and about a 10 minute walk from the famous Negresco and Florida beach. Whilst you'll need to stroll into the centre of town, it's certainly accessible. It will take you fifteen minutes to walk along the Promenade to get to the hub of the pedestrian zone with its hundreds of restaurants and boutiques surrounding Place Magenta.
It is a 30 minute walk from the apartment to Place Massena and the Old Town. Should you prefer, there are regular buses. The area still has some restaurants, bars, and shops less than a five minute walk away.

Living Area
The large living and dining area has double aspect floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the magnificent view. There are alcoves with lighting, a built in desk and bookcases and a large dining table with four chairs. In contrast to the 1950's style there is a 26" LCD TV with DVD player and French TV channels. From the living area you can access the terrace with table and six chairs. From the terrace is a stunning sea view.
Kitchen
The kitchen has been completely renovated with the only original feature being the ceramic sink. There are grey kitchen units with wood effect worktops, lots of cupboard space and drawers, a four-ring ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Bedrooms
The master bedroom has two impressive solid wood fitted wardrobes, a floor to ceiling headboard, a king size bed and original 1950's bed side tables. There is a beautifully restored parquet wooden floor and French windows lead to a balcony that benefits from a magnificent sea view.

There are again spacious wardrobes in the second bedroom, one single bed and one large single bed (120cm wide, which could sleep two children if a family of 5 books the apartment) with bedside tables and lamps, and a balcony with a sea view.

Both bedrooms benefit from double glazing and air conditioning.

Bathroom
The large bathroom has been completely renovated and features two washbasins, a bath with shower over, a bidet, and WC. There is a separate newly fitted shower room with shower and a washbasin. There is a separate WC.

How to get there
From the Airport

By Car

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes approximately 15 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at the CUM tram stop and it’s a five minute walk to the apartment.

We can meet you at the CUM tram stop, or outside the apartment building, as you prefer.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 15 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville.

From the station, the tram provides a cheap way to get to your apartment. To take the tram, when you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes and tickets cost 1.50€. Take the tram just one stop and change tramlines at Jean Medecin then disembark at the Magnan tram stop, from where it's a five minute walk to the apartment.

If you prefer to take a taxi, they can be found outside the main entrance to Gare Nice Ville, and the taxi ride will take about 10-15 minutes from Gare Nice Ville, depending on traffic. Please be sure that you have the full address ready to give to the driver.

Driving in Nice can be a challenge. We strongly advise GPS or a very good map. A car park near the apartment is Parking Palais Massena at 29 Promenade des Anglais, and requires a walk of about six minutes from the apartment. Alternatively, parking may be available in Parking Palmeira at 47 Rue Saint-Philippe, which is a seven minute walk to the apartment. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
