Neighbourhood

This large, tree lined Boulevard is a great location for a holiday apartment, one block past the hustle and bustle of Boulevard Gambetta, it is more residential and calmer yet lined with amenities. With easy access to a city bike, ‘Velo Bleu’, and electric car 'Auto Bleu' station and plenty of regular buses going to and from the centre and Old Town in a quick 10 minutes, this remains a central and accessible area. Walking down to the beach will take a mere six or seven minutes and once there you have the choice of lying like a local on the pebbles, or treating yourself to extra comfort at one of the private, serviced beaches, Florida Beach or Le Voilier Plage being the two closest. Once on the Promenade it is a nice, easy stroll of about 15 minutes past famous landmarks like the Negresco Hotel, into the Old Town. Or, you could choose to walk down the pedestrianised Rue de France which is lined with restaurants, bars and shops.

Boulevard Francois Grosso itself also has a choice of restaurants frequented mainly by locals and amenities including a bakery, bank, supermarket

Living Area

The open plan living area holds the kitchen, dining table, sofa and coffee table. It opens onto a spacious terrace with another table and chairs which will comfortably seat four.

Kitchen

The kitchen is small but fully functional and has a four ring hob, oven, mircowave, full size fridge and dishwasher.

Bedrooms

The bedroom holds a king size bed with bedside tables and lamps either side and built in wardrobes with full length mirror.

Bathroom

The bathroom is a generous size and holds a walk-in shower, toilet, wash basin and vanity unit. The washing machine is also in this room.

The advertised nightly price is based on a week stay. You will pay more than the nightly rate for a stay of less than seven days. The longer you stay with us, the better the rate.

How to get there

From the Airport

By Car

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes approximately 20 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at the Centre Universitaire Mediterraéneen tram stop and it’s about a five minute walk to the apartment.

We can meet you outside the apartment building, or at the tram stop at street level by the lift, as you prefer.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville, which is a 15 minute walk to the apartment.

From the station, the bus provides a cheap way to get to your apartment and will cost 1.50€ per person. To take a bus to the Perle Rare apartment, it is best to use the bus number 23, to the Alsace Lorraine stop. From there, it is an easy walk to the apartment that will take about four minutes.

If you wish to take a taxi, the taxi rank is located outside the front entrance of Gare Nice Ville and the journey will take approximately eight minutes.

Driving in Nice can be a challenge. We strongly advise GPS or a very good map. A car park near the apartment is Parking Palmeira at 47 Rue Saint-Philippe, which is a five minute walk to the apartment. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
