Floor/Building

This apartment is situated in a well-maintained building on the 6th (top) floor with a small lift. We do not think that the lift would accommodate a wheelchair or a pushchair.

Neighbourhood

Ideally situated with the beach and the Mediterranean as your front yard. The Bambou Plage Beach Bar and Restaurant is just across the road with deck chairs available for hire. Although it is within walking distance to the city, there are buses every few minutes both on the Promenade and street behind, Avenue de la Californie. The area has two supermarkets and a bakery.

Living Area

The south facing living room and dining area, overlook the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, and are bathed in light.

There are two white leather sofas with coffee table and TV. Art deco features can be found throughout including two black and chrome console dressers.

The dining room has a large glass table to comfotable seat four.

From the living area you can access the terrace with table and 2 chairs. From the terrace is a stunning sea view.

Kitchen

The retro-style kitchen has French doors leading onto the rear balcony, with a view overs the hills. The kitchen includes electric oven with four-ring cooktop, microwave, fridge-freezer and is fully equipped with everything you need to cook a decent meal.

Bedrooms

The main bedroom with parquet floor has a king size bed, bedside tables, large four-door wardrobe and two matching large dressers. There is a three-way retro round mirror on the wall, chrome retro-style ceiling light, wall lights and white curtains. Outside shutters on the French doors to the rear balcony.

The second bedroom has two single beds, a bedside table and a two door wardrobe.

Bathroom

The shower room has been renovated in keeping with the art deco look. There is a glass and chrome walk in shower, a large basin, vanity unit and toilet. The three-way mirror is in keeping with the deco look and all the accessories are of high quality chrome. The wall tiles are white with a chrome and grey feature trim matching the grey floor tiles. All furniture is white. There is a separate WC.

By Car

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes approximately 15 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at the Lenval Hopital tram stop and it’s a minute or two to walk to the apartment.

We can meet you outside the apartment building, or at the tram stop, as you prefer.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville.

From the station, the tram provides a cheap, convenient way to get to your apartment which takes approximately 15 minutes, not including time to change trams. When you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. Take the tram just one stop to the Jean Medecin stop where you'll need to change tramlines then disembark at Lenval Hopital from where it's a one to two minute walk to the apartment.

We can meet you outside the apartment building, or at the tram stop, as you prefer.

To take the bus, walk straight ahead when you exit the station, and take bus number 12. You should alight at Lenval.

If you prefer to take a taxi, they can be found outside the main entrance to Gare Nice Ville, and the taxi ride will take about ten minutes from Gare Nice Ville, depending on traffic. Please be sure that you have the full address ready to give to the driver.

Driving in Nice can be a challenge. We strongly advise GPS or a very good map. Fortunately, this apartment has a car parking available for £84 for a stay, so you needn’t worry about finding a place to park. Alternatively, there is a car park near the apartment is Hopital Lenval, which is a public car park located five minutes walk from the apartment.
