Floor/Building
The apartment is on the fifth and top floor of a well-maintained building with a lift. Please note, the lift stops between floors, so you still have 6 steps to climb up when you exit the lift. The lift will fit an average sized unfolded pushchair. If you prefer to walk off that lazy lunch there will still be 74 steps to climb to get to the apartment
Neighbourhood
Tucked away behind the pedestrian zone, this is a prime spot for a holiday apartment. It is a five minute walk to the beach. The Old Town can be reached within a five to ten minute stroll and the shopping district of the Jean Médecin is literally minutes away. Just south of the apartment is the lively pedestrian zone with its abundance of shops, cafes and restaurants. Ten minutes walk north will take you to the main train station which offers easy access to the rest of the French Riviera.

Living Area

The open plan living, dining and kitchen area is light and airy and stylishly decorated. Statement gold light fittings, chairs and ornaments create a luxurious feel and have been complimented with modern parquet flooring and tones of Riviera blue.

There are two very comfortable dark blue sofas, wooden coffee table, flat screen TV and a marble topped dining table to seat six.

This room also provides access onto the very generous terrace with another large dining table that will comfortably seat six.

Kitchen

The kitchen is integrated into the living space and provides a functional and social area to prepare food. Finished with light grey cupboards and an eye-catching gold tinted splashback it holds a four- ring hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave.

From this area the back balcony is accessed, here there is an area to hang out clothes to dry and a small utility area when the washing machine can be found.

Bedrooms

All three bedrooms have air-conditioning and have been finished with parquet flooring and storage. The first bedroom has been decorated in tones of light grey and dusky pink. There is a super king size bed with a sumptuous velvet headboard. There are bedside tables and reading lamps either side. There is also a double fitted wardrobe and access onto the main terrace with two sun-loungers.

The second bedroom has been decorated in similar tones but with eye-catching artwork and textiles. This room also comes with super king size bed with bedside tables and reading lamps either side, a fitted double wardrobe, velvet armchair and vanity table with mirror.

There is also direct access onto the main terrace with a small table and chairs for four.

The third bedroom is situated at the back of the property and comes with access onto the smaller back terrace. It has also been finished in tones of light grey with a velvet headboard. It holds a king size bed with bedside tables and reading lamps either side, two wardrobes and a vanity table with mirror.

Bathroom

There are two bathrooms in this property.

The first comes with a large walk-in shower, wash basin, vanity unit, heated towel rail and toilet.

The second also comes with a walk-in shower, wash basin, vanity unit and heated towel rail. There is no toilet in this second bathroom, but instead a separate WC.

All prices for this holiday rental apartment are inclusive of High Quality cotton linen and towels for six guests and utilities. The advertised nightly price is based on a week stay. You will pay more than the nightly rate for a stay of less than 7 days. The longer you stay with us, the better the rate.

How to get there

From the Train Station

By Car

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes approximately 20 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at the Jean Medecin tram stop and it’s a five minute walk to the apartment.

We can meet you outside the apartment building, or at the tram stop at street level by the lift, as you prefer.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville.

From there, the tram provides a cheap, convenient way to get to your apartment. When you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes and tickets cost 1.50€. Take the tram just two stops down the tramline, less than a five minute journey, and get off at Massena. It is then a four minute walk from Massena to your apartment.

We can meet you at the tram stop or outside the apartment building, as you prefer.

Driving in Nice can be a challenge. We strongly advise GPS or a very good map.

A car park near the apartment is Vinci Park Services at 20 Boulevard Victor Hugo, which is a five minute walk to the apartment. Alternatively, parking may be available in Parking Grimaldi at 11 Rue Maccarani and also requires a walk of about five minutes. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
