Floor/Building
This apartment is on the 4th floor of a typical Niçois building with a lift. The lift will fit 3 people. We feel the lift will just about fit an unfolded pushchair. Guests should note that there are a few stairs to climb before the lift can be accessed. Should you decide to walk there are 96 steps of average steepness to reach the apartment door.
Neighbourhood

Adagio is located in a residential area that has the best of both worlds: access to local shops and restaurants, but somewhere that is also a haven from the hustle and bustle of Nice at the height of the summer. The apartment is situated on the corner of Av Georges Clemenceau and Rue Berlioz ideally placed for whatever takes your fancy: the beach and the Promenade des Anglais is a ten minute walk (follow the Avenue Berlioz to the iconic pink dome of the Negresco Hotel), while a ten minute walk along Avenue Georges Clemenceau brings you to the vibrant Avenue Jean Medicin, the hub of Nice’s retail sector. There is a little boulangerie just across the road for your morning croissants, and several local supermarkets and a range of restaurants are only a short walk away. Conversely, if you feel like venturing further afield, the train station is only a couple of blocks away, and you can be in Monaco or St Tropez in less than an hour.

Complete with original intricate cornicing and restored parquet flooring the vast living space comes with a cosy TV area and an elegant relaxing and dining space that benefits from full length double corner windows that open onto a Juliette balcony. Filled with natural light and graced by some impressive sunsets this area has been finished with a two seater tan leather sofa, two separate pale yellow armchairs, a stylish varnished wood coffee table and a large dining table to seat six.

The TV area, just next door comes with access to the small balcony with a table and chairs to seat two people, a comfortable two seater grey sofa, desk and flat screen TV complete with DVD player and fibre optic internet. This room, which has double doors through to the main sitting room, also contains a large desk and bookcase.

There is also air conditioning.

Kitchen

The kitchen, which is spacious and well equipped has been finished in a more modern style with varnished wood cupboards and hints of bright Majorelle blue. There is an oven with four ring gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and full size fridge freezer. The washing machine is located in the bathroom.

Driving in Nice can be a challenge. We strongly advise GPS or a very good map. A nearby car park in the Musiciens area is Parking Mozart at 11, Avenue Auber, and requires a walk of about seven minutes. Alternatively, Vinci Park Services at 20 Boulevard Victor Hugo, which is approximately a ten minute walk away from the Adagio apartment, is another option for parking. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
