Floor/Building
This apartment is situated on the 3rd floor, with a lift, of a well maintained art deco building. The lift will fit 2 people but we are afraid we do not think it will allow for an unfolded pushchair. Guests should note that there are a few stairs to climb before the lift can be accessed. If you prefer to walk, there are 65 steps of average steepness up to the apartment.
Neighbourhood
Only a couple of minutes from the beach and Promenade des Anglais, this is a great location for a holiday apartment. Boulevard Gambetta, with its abundance of supermarkets and bakeries is on your doorstep, and the bustling Pedestrian area is a mere couple of minutes away. Guests will be able to enjoy strolling along the seafront to the Old Town and beyond. To reach the Old Town takes about twenty minutes on foot, and the Port a further ten.

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes approximately 20 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at the Alsace Lorraine tram stop and it’s a five minute walk to the apartment.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville.

From the station, the tram provides a cheap way to get to your apartment, however, it does mean changing trams. To take the tram, when you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes and tickets cost 1.50€. Take the tram just one stop and change tramlines at Jean Medecin then disembark at Alsace Lorraine which is a five minute walk to the apartment.

Driving in Nice can be a challenge. We strongly advise GPS or a very good map. A car park near the apartment is Parking Palmeira at 47 Rue Saint-Philippe, which is a five minute walk to the apartment. Alternatively, parking may be available in Palais Massena at 29 Promenade des Anglais and requires a walk of about eight minutes. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
