The delicately restored features of this room give a gentle nod to the apartment’s art deco history. The traditional parquet flooring, cornicing and marble topped coffee table are complemented by the soft colour palate and Mediterranean inspired artwork. This room is adjoined to the dining room by double doors, creating a delightfully social area.
In the living room there are two two-seater sofas, flat screen TV and DVD player. The dining table seats four. There is a small balcony that leads off the living room with sea views.
The small but perfectly formed kitchen provides ample space to prepare a modest meal. This modern and airy space is equipped with a four-ring ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.
The first of the bedrooms is situated at the front of the apartment next to the dining room. The delicate colour palette is continued but brought to life with subtle splashes of colour in the Henri Matisse prints and soft furnishings. There is a king size bed with head board that forms a shelf to hold two reading lamps. There is also a double wardrobe with one full length mirror (a new wardrobe has been installed since the photo was taken).
The second bedroom is situated next to the kitchen and follows the same theme as the first with more of Henri Matisse's famous cut-outs brightening the walls. There is a double bed with head board which holds two reading lamps and another double mirrored wardrobe. There is also a wall mounted TV.
The decent sized bathroom is finished with clean lines and a touch of modern retro styling in the white brick tiles. There is a large walk in shower, toilet, wash basin and shelving for storage.
