Floor/Building
The apartment is on the 4th floor of a renovated building with a large lift (capacity of 8 people). The exterior of the building still retains its Niçois style.

There are two entrances for this building. The first entrance is through the main gate of the building, either by taking the lift via the parking garage, or by walking up a gentle slope, with steps on one side. The second entrance into the building leads directly from Vieux Nice. There is a lift accessed through the parking area should you want to avoid the 48 steps.

Neighbourhood
The house is located in a rare quiet corner of the Old Town, close to the Castle Hill. Tucked quietly behind the bustling Rue Pairolière close to Place Garibaldi, this location has it all.

Within minutes you can enjoy all the restaurants, shops and markets the Old Town has to offer. Take a stroll down to the newly revamped Place Garibaldi for a lunch in the sun, or a wander down to the Port for an evening aperitif.

The Promenade, beach and Place Massena are all within 10 minutes walk too. The closest tram stop is five minutes away and will take you up to the train station in less than 10 minutes.

Living Area

Simply decorated in light tones, it is the 'fait maison' artwork and graceful touches of modern and oriental furniture that give the open plan living and dining room its style. Open the two sets of full length double glazed doors to enjoy the spectacular view and that all-important element of al-fresco living.

Outside there are two sun loungers and table that seats four. Inside there are two two-seater white leather sofas and a single armchair, glass coffee table, large flat screen TV and DVD player. Next to this there is a wooden dining table that seats four.

Kitchen

Perfectly made for easy service, the modern and stylish kitchen adjoins the dining area.

Clean, crisp white cupboards provide of storage and there is lots of space for preparing all those deliciously fresh products bought from the Cours Saleya market, just a ten minute walk away. There is a dishwasher, four-ring induction hob, oven, microwave, washing machine and it is fully equipped to Pebbles standards.

Bedrooms

Follow the varnished wood stairs to the second floor where you will find the two complete bathrooms and two spacious bedrooms.

The first of these bedrooms is again decorated in neutral tones and finished with the owner’s handmade artwork.

There are two single beds, two bedside tables each with reading lamps and a double full-length mirrored wardrobe. There is also a fully stocked bookshelf next to a two-seater sofa where you can enjoy the outstanding view in complete tranquility.

The second bedroom is slightly smaller in size, but with a bonus of a ensuite bathroom and small balcony with the same unbeatable views. There is a double bed, two bedside tables with reading lamps and another double, full length mirrored wardrobe.

Bathroom

Complete with a bathroom for each bedroom, the practicalities continue in this wonderful little house.

The first of the bathrooms has a shower, toilet, small wash basin and vanity unit.

The second and larger of the two forms part of the master suite, this bathroom also has a shower, toilet, two wash basins and vanity unit.

There is a separate WC on the first floor level

How to get there
From the Airport

From the Train Station

By Car

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes approximately 25 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at the Garibaldi / Le Chateau tram stop and it’s about a three minute walk to the apartment.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

Most guests who take a taxi or an airport transfer choose to be dropped off at Place St Francois because the Old Town area is pedestrianised and the taxi driver will not be able to drive to the entrance of the apartment building. It is a five minute walk, with luggage, to the apartment building.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville.

From the station, the tram provides a cheap, convenient way to get to your apartment. When you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes and tickets cost 1.50€. Take the tram to Vieille Ville - Cathedrale which is a six minute walk from the apartment.

Driving in Nice can be a challenge. We strongly advise GPS or a very good map. Secure parking is available in the owners garage for £84 for the duration of your stay.
