Floor/Building
This apartment is situated on the third floor with a two person lift which would only take a pushchair if it was folded. Please note there are 15 steps from the building entrance before you can access the lift, and a further 12 steps to the apartment entrance from the lift. Should you decide to use the stairs instead of the lift, there are 65 steps in total.
Neighbourhood
The apartment is located just off the landmark Place Rossetti. This beautiful square is lined with cafés, restaurants, and the infamous ice-cream parlour, Fennochio's.

With this central location, you could not be more in the heart of the Old Town. The apartment is just a few minutes’ walk away from Cours Saleya, the Promenade des Anglais and the beach, and the bus and tram stops are a mere five minute walk away. There is also a public car park nearby, under Cours Saleya.

A fifteen minute stroll will get you to the Port in one direction and, in the other, to the Shopping District in the modern city centre. The main Nice Ville train station is about 25 minutes away by foot or an easy four-stop tram ride.

Living Area
The open plan living area is delightfully light and airy. Two double glazed French doors open out onto the balcony which runs the length of the apartment; with its view of Place Rossetti, this is the perfect spot for people watching at any time of the day.

The dining table will provide plenty of space for four to sit down to eat together and the sitting room area, with its three-seater sofa and two armchairs offers a cost spot to unwind. Entertainment is also well-catered for; there is a TV with some English channels, Wi-Fi and a DVD player. Following guest feedback, the owner has installed a full length mirror in the hallway near the front door.
Kitchen
The sleek kitchen is open plan to the living area and offers everything guests could need for preparing tasty meals and snacks. There is a large fridge with freezer compartment, a three-ring induction hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher as well as plenty of worktop space and cupboards for storage. With the market just minutes from the apartment, you will have plenty of fresh produce at your fingertips too.

The cupboards in the kitchen also house the washing machine.
Bedrooms
The two bedrooms both come with double beds, wardrobes, double glazing and air-conditioning. The master bedroom is slightly larger and has two bedside tables and reading lamps. This bedroom also offers direct access to the balcony; just open the French doors to hear the fountain down below and step out to make the most of the view of the famous Saint Réparate Cathedral.

The second bedroom has an extra chest of drawers for storing all your belongings and has reading lights built into the alcove. From here you also have a side view of the square and all its goings-on.
Bathroom
The modern bathroom has a walk-in shower, washbasin with overhead mirror, toilet and heated towel rail. There is an extra WC just off the living area.

How to get there

By Car

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes approximately 25 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at the Garibaldi / Le Chateau tram stop, from where it's a seven minute walk to the apartment.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

Most guests who take taxis or an airport transfer choose to be dropped off at Place St Francois because the Old Town area is pedestrianised and the driver will not be able to drive to the entrance of the apartment building. This is about a two minute walk to the apartment building.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville .

From the station, the tram provides a cheap, convenient way to get to your apartment. When you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes and tickets cost 1.50€. Take the tram to the Vieille Ville - Cathedrale tram stop, which is approximately 150 metres from the apartment.

If you prefer to take a taxi, this will take about 10-15 minutes from Gare Nice Ville.

The nearest car park to our Nice apartment Clochette is Corvesy car park at 3 Rue Alexandre Mari, which is a six minute walk from the apartment. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
