Floor/Building

3rd floor of a traditional Niçois building without a lift. There are 68 steps to reach the apartment and these are on the steep side.

Neighbourhood

The apartment overlooks the colourful and animated Place Rossetti, lined with cafés and restaurants; it is also home to the beautiful Cathedrale St Réparate and the infamous ice-cream parlour, Fennochio's. With this central location, you're in the very heart of the Old Town. It is just a few minutes’ walk away from the Cours Saleya, Promenade des Anglais and the beach.

Major bus stops and a tram stop are a mere five minute walk away. There is also a public car park nearby under the Cours Saleya. A fifteen minute stroll will get you to the Port and the main shopping district in the modern city centre. The main Nice Ville train station is about 25 minutes away by foot or an easy 4-stop tram ride.

Living Area

The living area is dual aspect making it light and airy. Relax on the two comfy sofas and watch a bit of TV or use the Wi-Fi to stay in touch with friends or family.

If you can resist the temptation of the numerous restaurants in the streets around the apartment, you can always have dinner at the beautiful solid wood circular dining table with matching chairs.

From the living area, patio doors open out onto the balcony, which with its table and two chairs is ideal for people watching.

Kitchen

Set just off the living area, the kitchen is decorated in Provençal tones. Complete with an oven, four-ring ceramic hob with extractor fan, dishwasher and washing machine, there is also plenty of worktop space for those that like to try their hand at cooking with the local ingredients.

Bedrooms

Both bedrooms come with an ensuite bathroom, giving guests added privacy. There are also traditional shutters to keep the rooms dark in the morning and ceiling fans to keep you cool in the summer months.

The good sized master bedroom looks over the famous Place Rossetti. Complete with wooden flooring, a super king bed with bedside tables and reading lamps, a chest of drawers, full length mirror and also a fitted wardrobe, and two occasional chairs, guests will be comfortable here.

The second bedroom has twin beds with a bedside table and reading lamp between them. Your belongings can be stored in the chest of drawers.

Those travelling with a small child will be pleased to hear a baby cot will fit into the main bedroom. This can be hired from us upon checkout, please see our packages for more details.

Bathroom

Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. The one connected to the master bedroom has a generous sized walk in shower, toilet, washbasin, vanity unit with mirror and a heated towel rail.

The bathroom off the second bedroom also has a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, toilet, washbasin and vanity unit with mirror.

The advertised nightly price is based on a week stay. You will pay more than the nightly rate for a stay of less than seven days. The longer you stay with us, the better the rate.

How to get there

By Car

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes approximately 25 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at Garibaldi / Le Chateau, from where it's an eight minute walk to the apartment.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

Most guests who take a taxi or a transfer with keys choose to be dropped off at Place St Francois because the Old Town area is pedestrianised and the taxi driver will not be able to drive to the entrance of the apartment building.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville.

From the station, the tram provides a cheap, convenient way to get to your apartment. When you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes and tickets cost 1.50€. Take the tram to Vielle Ville - Cathedrale from where it's is an easy 200m walk to the apartment.

If you prefer to take a taxi, taxis are available outside Gare Nice Ville.

We can meet you outside the apartment building, at the tram stop, or at Place St Francois, as you prefer. The apartment is a two minute walk from the tram stop, or a four minute walk from Place St Francois.

The Old Town of Nice has many one way, narrow streets which can make driving stressful. We suggest having a map or Navigation System to assist you. Place Rosetti, where your apartment is located, is a highly pedestrianised area. The nearest car park to our Nice apartment Fenocchio is Cours Selaya car park at entrance to the Cours Selaya, near Rue Raoul Bosio which is approximately six minute walk. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
