Floor/Building
On the 7th floor of a well maintained modern building with a lift. The lift holds six people and can fit a wheelchair.

The apartment block building is next door to a hotel complex who share the pool. The hotel lobby and reception is limited to guests of the hotel and our guests are not able to take advantage of the facilities of the hotel, except for the pool.
With two large balconies, the apartment enjoys panoramic views and a rooftop pool for residents' use. A rare find in such a central location. The pool is usually open from mid May to mid September, but this can vary and is out of our control.

Neighbourhood
The apartment is situated in a typical Nicois neighbourhood, surrounded by a good choice of local shops and services on Boulevard Risso. The Acropolis exhibition centre is next door and hosts a wealth of entertainment for all the family including a bowling alley, theatre, an indoor swimming pool and ice skating rink.

There is also a second entrance on Ave de la Republique, from which it's just a few minutes walk to the beautiful Place Garibaldi, where you can relax in one of the many cafes or restaurants. A further five minute venture will take you to the Old Town or the Port, or in just ten to twelve minutes you’ll find yourself basking in the sun along the Promenade des Anglais.

For the more adventurous, you can take advantage of the excellent transport links Nice has to offer and head out to Antibes, Monaco, Cannes or some of the pretty hilltop villages. The bus stops are only a five-minute walk and the tram stops Acropolis and Garibaldi are even closer. Five stops on the tram will take you to the main train station. The Riviera is your oyster!

Parking can be tricky in central Nice so where possible, we advise that you do not need a rental car. However there is a public car park close by at the Acropolis. The public car parks around Nice cost between 18-30 Euros per day.

Living Area
The large open living area is equipped with all the modern comforts you will need for a truly relaxing stay. The two black leather sofas, two armchairs and two coffee tables are perfect for relaxing evenings in front of the large flat screen TV.

The dining table seats six people and is great for a lazy breakfast or social dinner. The double glazed patio doors lead out onto the large terrace at the front, giving guests the option to dine outside or simply relax on the sun lounger.

Kitchen
The kitchen situated in the open plan living space is stylish and modern with fully-integrated appliances, and is well equipped for culinary experiments with the local produce you’ll find at the nearby markets or supermarkets. There is a four-ring ceramic hob, oven, microwave, full-size fridge freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine. With plenty of crockery and cutlery supplied, there’ll be no need to fight over the washing up either!

There is a door off the kitchen that leads to the large balcony, where you can enjoy an alfresco-style meal using the patio dining table and chairs.

Bedrooms
All bedrooms are a good size and have direct access to the balconies as well as black out shutters for a good night's sleep.

The spacious master bedroom is to the front of the building and contains a double bed, two bedside tables, a fitted wardrobe, bookcase and reading chair. Double glazed doors lead directly to the large front terrace which overlooks the Acropolis.

The two bedrooms at the back both have double glazed doors leading to the smaller balcony which looks over the rear of the building and has great views of the surrounding mountains in the distance. The larger of the two contains a double bed, two bedside tables and a fitted wardrobe. The second bedroom offers twin single beds, two bookcases and drawers.

The main bedroom has sufficient room for a travel cot. Travel cots can be ordered from us upon checkout. Please see our packages for more details.

Bathroom
There are two modern and fully tiled bathrooms in the centre of the apartment. The main bathroom is fully equipped to Danish handicapped standards with easy wheelchair access and well positioned hand rails. There is a large walk-in shower, toilet and sink with mirror and vanity unit.

The second bathroom is smaller and contains a shower cubicle, wash basin and vanity unit with mirror. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails and are decorated in neutral white and stone grey.

There is also a toilet in the apartment that is separate from both of the bathrooms.

Central city driving in Nice can be a challenge. We strongly advise GPS or a very good map. The nearest car park is Parking Promenade des Arts at 18 Av. Saint Jean Baptiste/Av. Saint Sebastien. There are three exits to this car park, the most convenient one being on Boulevard Risso.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
