Floor/Building
The apartment is located on the third floor of a typical Old Town building with narrow winding stairs (50 steps), no handrail, no lift, and traditional green shutters.
Neighbourhood
Rue de la Providence benefits from all the character and charm of the Old Town, but is tucked away just off Rue Pairoliere so that only a gentle buzz of contented tourists can be heard. It is the perfect location to explore Nice. With the bus and tram stops just a five minute walk away, you can explore the whole of the Cτte d'Azur very easily.

Walking for just a few minutes through the Old Town will bring you to the Cours Saleya with its daily market, and then the Promenade and beach. Whichever way you turn, you are only seconds away from shops, restaurants, galleries, bars, and joie de vivre.

Living Area
The living area, with its exposed beam, has been simply decorated with white walls and white wooden floors to highlight the pretty furniture and the charming collection of paintings, pictures, ornaments and flowers.

The whole room gets lots of natural light from the two large windows which open up to a picturesque view of the rooftops. It comes complete with a cream leather two seater sofa, a white coffee table, side tables, and a writing desk.

To the side of the living room under a wall full of pictures, there is a round dining table with adequate dining space for four.

Kitchen
The kitchen is open plan to the side of the living area and is attractively decorated with white units and a wooden worktop. It is well-equipped with a four-ring ceramic hob, oven, extractor fan, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, as well as all the utensils guests could need to cook with the tempting local produce.
Bedrooms
Like the rest of the apartment, the bedroom is decorated in white. It has a double bed, double wardrobe, side dresser with drawers, and another large window with the same lovely views over the rooftops.

Although a tight squeeze a baby cot will fit in the bedroom and can be hired from us upon checkout. Please see our packages for more details.

Bathroom
The modern bathroom has a large walk-in shower, a square ceramic wash basin with storage below and a mirror above, a toilet and a wall radiator.

How to get there
From the Airport

From the Train Station

By Car

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes approximately 25 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at Garibaldi / Le Chateau, from where it's a two minute walk to the apartment.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

Most guests who take a taxi or a transfer choose to be dropped off at Place St Francois because the Old Town area is pedestrianised and the taxi driver will not be able to drive to the entrance of the apartment building.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville.

From the station, the tram provides a cheap, convenient way to get to your apartment. When you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes and tickets cost 1.50€. Take the tram to Vieille Ville - Cathedrale, from where it's a four minute walk to the apartment.

If you prefer to take a taxi, this will take about 20 minutes from Gare Nice Ville.

The nearest car park to our Nice apartment Providence is Promenade des Arts, 18 Avenue Saint-Jean-Baptiste. It is across the tram lines from the apartment and is approximately a five minute walk. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
