What a wonderful location this is! So handy for the local sights and of course the Gare Routiere. Can't believe how cheap the bus fares are compared to the UK! We certainly made full use of them on our trips to Èze, Cannes, Antibes, and Monaco; all wonderful places too! Had a lovely time in this lovely apartment. Superb location (minutes to the bus station) and very trendy decor. Great DVD collection but Nice and the surrounding areas kept us too busy! Had a great time cooking handmade ravioli and local produce in the kitchen. Thanks for all your tips about where to eat, shop, and, above all, visit. Highlights: Walking along Cap d'Antibes, Lunch at Haut-de-Cagnes (gorgeous views but not overcrowded), Visiting Èze village and St-Paul de Vence, Seafood at Nice Port. Dear Matt and Gayle, Thank you for allowing us to stay in the apartment. I was amazed how tranquil it is compared to the hustle and bustle of the Old Town streets. I couldn't fault the apartment, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Almost too comfortable in fact, as it was an effort to prize ourselves away and do something. Nice is a lovely place and it is a shame we could only stay for 4 nights. Annina who welcomed us was lovely and very helpful.

Bonjour Matt and Gayle and the owners of this apartment, I have 9 days in this beautiful apartment;it's a very sophisticated place; have a good feeling during my stay! You have all you need here; maybe the sink in the bathroom could be bigger;important for the girls I think. I like it most to sit on the floor with a "SADE" concert and a glass of champagne...daydreaming to stay here forever. Thank you for your help and the welcome package. What a delightful place you have here. One of the first things we spotted was the Puschka card in the cabinet and we knew we would be at home here as it is one of our favourite places in Liverpool! The apartment is well equipped and comfortable (especially the bed!) We really enjoyed a trip out to Monaco today; a bargain bus journey at 1 euro 30 each way. We're off to Aix en Provence for the next step of our journey tomorrow but will hopefully be back at Le Croix soon,

We love the website, and this apartment exceeded our expectations. Location, location of course, and it has been renovated to be comfortable and chic, without losing the soul of the old building. The Monoprix supermarket in Place Garibaldi is useful, but it is worth visiting the large branch just past the Nice Etoile shopping mall. "Espuno" - the boulangerie in Rue Droite (the far end, towards Cours Saleya) was a great find. The oven in the shop, they have a great variety of bread, and the meringues are superb. Our thanks to the owners of apartment Croix, and to all at Nice Pebbles. We'll be back!

We loved the website and the helpful advice on the phone. We love Nice and found tihs apartment beautifully located for all we wanted to do, see, particularly the bus station, beach and flower market. This holiday apartment is clean, tidy and has everything we needed including wake up church bells! We love it.

Had a fantastic stay here! The apartment was perfectly located for access to the market, the beach and for travel to Monaco &Cannes. I'd recommend any of the restaurants along Rue de France and it is aprticularly lively at night with all the street artists and performers. Thanks for the warm welcome and the extremely well equipped apartment...all the little details have been thought of; a DVD collection, guide books, magazines etc.

Very nice apartment, really handy to everything. Had a lovely visit to Grasse and got some lovely perfume. Weather was great this time so spent a lot of time on the beach. My husband made great use out of all your dvds. Thank you for the welcome gift and the girl from the agency was very helpful.

Thanks for letting us stay in this lovely apartment. We love the Old Town and spent many evenings there sampling the restaurants. Can't believe we came off the beach at 7pm and it's still hot!! We loved the Welcome meeting, the Welcome pakc and all the special touches that will probably make us want to book again for next year as soon as we get home! We made lots of use of the bus although hot and bothered the view made up for everything...Thanks again.

Had a fabulous time, had lots to do for a young couple. Found apartment very well equipped with lots of nice touches, we made good use of the dvd and book collection. We thoroughly appreciated the Welcome meeting and Welcome pack. Found the apartment clean with good use of space, kitchen was very good for eating in. Yes, it is time to go...but we'll have to come back to see what we couldn't get to in Nice. Love the city, the sound of the ocean on those pebbles, my kids had a blast! St Paul de Vence is worth every ounce of energy left in you - a must see. The holiday apartment was greatly located, walked everywhere. Heading tomorrow to Aix-en-Provence, Avignon then Tours and Paris - cannot wait! Have a great stay!

So much better staying in an apartment than a hotel! Enjoyed being able to shop in the market on the Cours Saleya. The Gare Routiere (bus station) is so close and we discovered the joys of travelling by bus - we plan to come back and explore more! Would agree with previous comments that a coffee table or small tables by the sofas would be useful, but otherwise a great apartment. See you again soon we hope!

Thanks for such a great apartmetn, we loved the location and the freedom of living in an apartment rather than a hotel we made good use of the buses, tram and trains to explore lots of places nearby. We couldn't have chosen a better location - loved the Old Town. Stayed for 9 nights, ate in 9 different restaurants, all of them excellent, all of them in the Old Town. Unforgettable day trips to: Antibes, Villefranche, Monaco, Beaulieu Sur Mer, and Cannes. Loved the rustic charm of the apartment - a perfect honeymoon!

Our third fabulous trip to Nice with Nice Pebblse. Another clean &well appointed apartment and thoughtful touches. Staying in the Old Town is perfect - yuo almost feel as if you are a "local". We used the 1€ bus to visit the Rothschild Gardens and Villefranche, and took advantage of the free museum openings on the first Sunday of every month to go to the Chagall, Matiss and Modern Art Galleries. Small economies but the exchange rate is not good for Brits at the moment! Thank you again Matt &Gayle. Also thank you for the office staff who were so pleasant and helpful when we popped in! We hope your business continues to flourish and everything goes well in November.

We found the apartment very well equipped, interestingly decorated and perfectly situated for making the most of what Nice Old Town has to offer. Le Bienvenue restaurant in Place St Francois is very highly recommended for food and service.

Miserable weather and a recession at home meant it was so nice to get away to Nice! Especially at a solid 22degrees all week! The cheerful &pleasant Marie settled us in efficiently and went out of her way to be helpful. The apartment was simply splendid - very much nicer than we had anticipated and so clean, well equipped and spacious. We really appreciated the quietness and calm in the busy Old Nice - even the church bells stopped ringing in the early evening. The Welcome basket was a really good touch!
