What a fantastic New Year we’ve had. The holiday apartment & garden are lovely, we’ve enjoyed exploring Nice on foot. The Market just down the street from casino supermarket was excellent for local high quality seafood, meat and veg, which we thoroughly enjoyed cooking in the lovely kitchen. New Years Eve was magical, Place Massena’s xmas lights were fantastic. The markets & Ice rink were fab. The Promenade des Anglais was packed out with couples, families & groups to watch the midnight fireworks display as well as everyone else’s fireworks on the beach – it was spectacular. Unfortunately we were the only couple without a bottle of Champagne & plastic glasses – as we didn’t realise that this was the done thing. So whilst everyone else enjoyed popping their corks & sipping bubbles, we just soaked up the atmosphere.... then sat and drank champagne at a cafe... outside on New Year’s Eve – fantastic! P.S. The Brasserie at The Palais de la Méditerranée does an excellent Plat du Jour.

Had a lovely week in April. Loved the garden and feeding the birds. Especially enjoyed the trip to ‘Tanettes’ Medieval village and violet sunsets. Loved the flower market and fresh fruit & veg shop on rue Dante- ‘fruits & Legumes’. Apartment was very nice – well equipped kitchen. Had some lovely meals in, at night. Comfy bed – great shower loved the tiles! Nice selection of DVD’s films to watch occasional garden beetle – no big deal- Hello! We are in the south of France and expect it! Will return end of year. P.s like the beach chairs.

Our second time in the lovely ‘Citrus Garden’ rental apartment in Nice. We have engaged the Promenade, Vieux Ville and trips to Mont Baron and Cap Ferrat (St. Jean). Try the fish soup at ‘Le Saint Jean’ at St. Jean Cap Ferrat. If you have the energy try the walk from Aspiemont (bus 62) to Aire St Michel ( bus 25 back)- a way marked footpath with wonderful views over Nice and the Var valley. We too recommend the ‘Barracuda’ also the market at Liberation for fish, fruit and vegetables. As above the garden here is a big attraction – like the new lights!

We are much enjoyed our stay here, especially the garden! We swam each morning – water perfect temperature. Visited the Matisse and Chagall Museums in Cimiez. Picasso museum in Antibes – all worth a visit. Elena from Pebbles was extremely helpful- thank you.

Lovely home from home. Excellent rental accommodation. Loved sitting in the garden enjoying the sun. Having wi-fi is a great aide. Good places to eat out, particularly relished 11eme ART on Rue Meyerbeer.

Spent an enjoyable week here at the end of April. We had a toddler who loved running around the holiday apartment and the garden. Bus to Monaco was great value at 1 Euro with spectacular coastal views. If going to Cannes, would recommend taking the train as bus becomes very busy and takes around 2hrs. Found Nina from Riviera Pebbles to be very friendly and helpful.

Fabulous week, the holiday apartment was excellent especially the garden! Weather & Nice were perfect. If you aren't familiar with Nice go first to the Gare Routiere and get all your bus timetables, it is just up from Place Massena. Buses are great value at 1Euro per trip or buy a day pass for 4Euro from any bus driver. Check out Eze and St Paul de Vence!

Lovely apartment, we especially enjoyed relaxed evenings in the garden. Buses and trains are a really easy way to get around and fares are cheap. Would recommend Cannes and Monaco as day trips. On way back from Monaco a visit to Beaulieu-sur-mer to visit the villa and gardens of Ephrussi de Rothschild which has beautiful gardens and spectacular views of Villefranche / Beaulieu-sur-mer. (20 min walk from railway station). In the flower market area we particularly enjoyed Brasserie Saleya which serves good quality local food. Vielle Ville is definitely worth a visit, full of quaint alleyways, shops, bars, and restaurants.

Thank you for giving us a great time in Nice. We loved having a place to stay that felt so much like home. The garden was charming and the Nice guidelines were tremendous! We loved EVERYONE of your suggestions. In addition, we loved the beach gear and used it everyday!! Thank you for it!! You should try the restaurants Oliviera, Waynes’s and any restaurant on the Promenade des Anglais (but only for drinks during happy hour)!! (6-9pm) Fun fantastic and truly a relaxing vacation!

We’ve had a fantastic holiday! Weather glorious! The apartment was really lovely, with it’s peaceful, secluded garden—all very conducive to rest and relaxation. Some excellent restaurants, not too far away. We, particularly, enjoyed a meal at Barracuda, which we’d recommend on rue Meyerbeer. The apartment is well maintained and well equipped. One small suggestion—a small first aid kit would be useful. We hope to revisit in the not too distant future.

Leaving after 9 great days in Nice and in Citrus Garden. Very well equipped and maintained apartment with many nice touches. Great location for the beach and lots of choice round about for bars, restaurants, and fresh food shopping. Visited rue Meyerbeer (5 minutes walk towards city center) to visit some old favourite restaurants, but discovered a few new ones right on the doorstep here. We’ll definitely be back in Nice for a 6th time and hope to stay in Citrus Garden again.

Ben and Malena from Riviera Pebbles very helpful. Apartment situated in a nice residential area. Take the local bus on the 3 famous cliff roads. The no.82 bus to Eze on the Moyenne Corniche strikingly situated village with breathtaking views. If you fell brave take the no.84 to Beaulieu-sur-mer (true to its name) destination Bai de Fourmis and the no.81 back on the Basse Corniche- much less scary!
