RIVIERA PEBBLES

Press About Riviera Pebbles Apartments

Nice Pebbles and Riviera Pebbles. If you've ever fantasized about living on the French Riviera, renting a furnished apartment is the next best thing. Established a few years ago, the friendly agency Nice Pebbles has a wide variety of comfortable apartments to choose from, many of them in the Old Town and all less than 20 minutes' walk from the beach. Fully equipped kitchens allow you to make the most of the fabulous produce at the local markets, and a welcome pack of local delicacies comes with each rental. Riviera Pebbles has a further selection of apartments in Nice, as well as apartments and villas in other key locations along the Côte d'Azur. Note that while all apartments have kitchens, some do not have swimming pools, elevators, telephones, air-conditioning, or Wi-Fi.

We cannot recommend this apartment rental company highly enough. Nice Pebbles manages around 50 high-class properties in the city's premier zone, included the old town and harbour, and along the Promenade des Anglais. All the properties are carefully selected, presumably to minimize any complaints or hassles. Its stock is thus in excellent condition and has first-class amenities (generally MP3 docks, high-definition TVs, and designer bathrooms). Sizes vary from one-bedroom properties with large terraces, to large seaview places sleeping 10 or more guests. When booked by the week, prices work out much more competitively than a hotel, especially when traveling with a family. Booking can be made online, although due to high demand, reservations are best made as far in advance as possible.

A luxurious alternative to staying in a hotel is to hire an apartment through the super-helpful Nice Pebbles. Properties range from elegant, antique-dotted hideaways to slick, super-modern renovations with home cinema systems and immense walk-in showers. The pick of the bunch include the quirky Katja (a hip mix of modern design and flea market finds) and Vincent, an opulent Old Town pad (best feature: a magnificent Philippe Starck bath at the foot of the bed).

Purveyors of over 50 magnificent apartments in Nice (plus others in nearby towns) all of which can be booked online. These upscale properties (from around €55 per night) are uniformly well located and well equipped. Ranging from one-bedroom modern apartments in the Old Town to three-bedroom villas in the Port, the entire selection fills up fast.

Nice Pebbles & Riviera Pebbles are the highest ranked apartment rental agency in Nice. Pebbles Tip: If you are searching for a holiday apartment in Nice on TripAdvisor because you want to find something reviewed highly, then be sure to list properties in the order of number of reviews rather than travellers ratings. All properties listed are paid listings, and TripAdvisor is paid on a per-click basis. So, their default is "travellers ratings" which allows them to promote the properties they want to be paid for per click. Searching by number of reviews will give you more properties that are highly reviewed and allow for a more impartial listings search.

Have you dreamt of feeling like a real Niçois? Coming back to your designer pad in Vieux Nice, opening a bottle of ice-cold rosé and cooking up a storm with the treatsyou bought at the market? All hail this holiday flat company set up by English couple Matt and Gayle. Their concept is simple: offering the quality of a four-star boutique hotel in holiday flats. The apartments (ranging from one to three bedrooms) are gorgeous and quipped to high standards (flatscreen TV, kitchen, linen bedding and, in some cases, wi-fi, swimming pool, balcony, etc.) Matt and Gayle also run Riviera Pebbles, with apartments in Cannes, Antibes and Monaco.

For this month's profile we talked to Gayle Roberts, owner of Riviera Pebbles and Nice Pebbles. She and her husband Matt relocated from England to the famed French Riviera where they established a rapidly-growing boutique vacation rental agency which places high emphasis on customer service and quality accommodations. They provide a range of well-priced vacation rentals.
I have not met Gayle but I worked with her looking at vacation rentals for an upcoming trip and I recommend her agencies. This is one vacation rental secret that we are stealing from the Brits - it is time to get more Americans exploring Nice and the French Riviera! Read entire article here.

Chic, not cher, on the Riviera. Nice's largest apartment rental agency manages more than 50 properties in locations that the big hotel brands simply can't reach, including the old town and the port. All have wi-fi, washing machines, chic interiors and Egyptian cotton linen. You can book online for the Providence apartment, two minutes from the beachfront (£90 a night in August), or stay in the two-bedroom Cathédrale apartment for £100 a night in October for a minimum of four nights (quote The Times) for this special offer and 5 percent off any booking this year).
