The neighbouring building, the historic Chapelle Sainte-Croix, a truly quaint baroque chapel, completes this pretty picture.

It is the perfect location to explore Nice. With the bus and tram stops just a five minute walk away, you can explore the whole of the Côte d'Azur very easily. A wander through the winding streets of the Old Town will bring you to Cours Saleya with its daily market, and just beyond this lies the Promenade and beach. Whichever way you turn, you are only seconds away from shops, restaurants, galleries, bars, and joie de vivre.

The owners have restored and decorated the apartment with a tasteful blend of old and new styled furnishings. The open plan living area, with large windows for maximum light, is extremely spacious, especially for a one-bedroom apartment and all home comforts are provided for, including a large black leather Habitat sofa and contrasting French chaise longue, hip Harry Bertoia chairs, and a classic oak dining table.

A 20-inch LCD screen and a DVD Hi-Fi system (which includes the option of playing music from your MP3 player) are also available to complete your holiday. Great attention has been paid to detail throughout, as demonstrated by the choice of artwork and ornaments, creating an apartment with soul!

The brand new, stand-alone Habitat kitchen complements the apartment well. There is a traditional ceramic double sink, an integrated fan-assisted oven, a four-ring hob, and an extractor. The large fridge-freezer, along with all usual utensils ensures you have everything you need to cook a Niçois meal. A highchair is also provided.

The bedroom, with its double Laura Ashley solid oak bed, is at the back of the apartment. It is quiet and private as the window only faces out onto the central core of the building. A clothes rail concealed by a curtain, matching that covering the window, adds a cosy feel to the bedroom. There are bedside tables and lamps as well as a chest of drawers for extra storage and an ornate mirror.

The white tiled bathroom suite is modern and stylish, and features a small bath equipped with an overhead shower, a ceramic wash basin and toilet. A large mirror and spot lighting complete the look.
