Russie has been completely renovated to a superb standard and finished with high quality fixtures and fittings. Perfectly proportioned this 40m2 apartment oozes easy, minimalistic, stylish living. It is also surprisingly quiet for its central position – located just off the main high street, Jean Médecin, and traffic is minimal.

Rue Russie is just behind the cinema on Avenue Jean Médecin. There is a very large supermarket and plenty of shops and restaurants within a few minutes' walk. A bakery is less than a minute away, as is the tram.

The train station can be reached in ten minutes on foot in one direction, and a 15 minute stroll in the other will get you to either the beach and the Promenade or the Old Town.

This is also a great apartment as a base to explore the Côte d’Azur using the excellent public transport network.

The living and kitchen area are open plan, and the living area is decorated in an attractive palette of creams and reds. There is a very high quality cream leather sofa bed, a stand-alone reading lamp, white console unit supporting a 32" LCD screen and DVD player, and Wi-Fi internet access.

A deep red rug and cushions, as well as a smaller lamp for subtle lighting, add comfort to the overall chic and simple style. The large double glazed window is framed by beige curtains. A black glass rectangular table with four leather high-backed cream chairs provide ample dining space.

The kitchen comprises units in a gloss maple laminate which complement the marble effect worktop and real wood floor. The units under the worktop house a small built-in dishwasher, washing machine, and fridge with small freezer compartment. The units above hold all necessary glassware, crockery and utensils necessary for cooking a feast with the local produce, and there is a four-ring hob, oven and a microwave to cook it in.

Decorated in hues of soft blue, the spacious bedroom has a large double glazed window with heavy lined curatins and good sized built-in wardrobes giving you plenty of storage space. A double bed is central to the room with two bedside tables, reading lamps and an alarm clock. A white bucket chair, artwork, cushions and quilted throw finish off the room beautifully!

While not in use, the ironing board and iron, hairdryer and clothes drying rack are stored in the bedroom.

The bathroom is all clean lines. It is part-tiled in a luxury marble effect with a complementary vanity unit, porcelain wash basin with large mirror and a toilet. There is also a good sized shower cubicle with power shower.

All prices for this holiday rental apartment in Nice are inclusive of Egyptian cotton linen and towels and utilities.

The advertised nightly price is based on a week stay. You will pay more than the nightly rate for a stay of less than seven days. The longer you stay with us, the better the rate.

Taxi ranks are easily found at all terminals and once inside will take around 25 minutes to reach your apartment in Nice Muscien’s area. The 99 express Airport shuttle bus is easy, cheap and convenient and just 6€. It runs every half hour during the day, with less frequent service in the evenings and early mornings. Buses operate until 9pm (21:00). If you take the bus, we will meet you at the bus stop Gare SNCF, just North of the Musicien’s area. It is then a 10 minute walk to your apartment. Visit our transport page for more information, routes and timetables. If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville. From there, the tram provides a cheap, convenient way to get to your apartment. When you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes and tickets cost 1.50€. Take the tram just one stop down the tram line, less than a two minute journey, and get off at Jean Medecin. We can meet you at the tram stop or outside the apartment building, as you prefer. There is no need for a taxi – we doubt a driver would be willing to accept the fare for such a short trip. See our transport page for more info. Driving in Nice can be a challenge. We strongly advise GPS or a very good map. A nearby car park in the Musiciens area is Parking Nice Etoile on Rue Deudon which is approximately a five minute walk away from the Russie apartment. Parking Louvre at 20 Boulevard Victor Hugo is another option for parking near to the apartment and requires a walk of about four minutes. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details. Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations. We can meet you at the car park or outside the apartment as you prefer.
