Avenue de Verdun is less than a minute from Place Masséna and is a shopper’s paradise lined with designer brands and upmarket cafés. It is also only a quick three minute stroll across the park, La Coulée Verte, to the Promenade des Anglais and sea beyond.

Set slightly off the main street this apartment provides a quiet, calm and relaxed environment in which to retreat. Filled with natural light and complete with a large balcony, air-conditioning and an ensuite bathroom for each of the two bedrooms, it is a comfortable and stylish choice for your holiday on the French Riviera.

Floor/Building
This apartment is situated on the fourth floor of a well kept building with a lift. The lift will fit a total of three people, or two people with a small/medium sized unfolded pushchair.
Neighbourhood
Avenue de Verdun is a shopper's paradise; surrounded by designer stores such as Chanel and Hermes you can literally shop 'til you drop. After a day sightseeing or shopping, you can dine in one of a number of chic restaurants in the surrounding streets.

In the morning, pop downstairs to one of Nice’s renowned boulangeries for your morning croissants or stroll five minutes to Cours Saleya, the famous fruit, vegetable and flower market in the Old Town.

Only a block from the Promenade des Anglais and the beach, guests can choose to sit by the sea to have their aperitif. Or alternatively, right on your doorstep there is the park La Coulee Verte and Place Massena where you can enjoy a drink with the locals on the terrace of one of the relaxing cafe/ bars.

The area is well served by tram, bus and train routes which can take you out of Nice to explore the surrounding areas.

Living Area

The open plan living area combines the kitchen, dining and seating area in one large and bright space. Finished with a light natural wood parquet and clean white walls, this area has been stylishly furnished with a three-seater grey linen sofa, wicker armchair and movable side tables. There is also a flat screen TV and access onto the long balcony that spans the length of the apartment.

The white dining room table comfortably seats four.

Kitchen

The modern kitchen has been subtly finished to tie in discreetly with the living area. Decorated with clean white lacquered cupboards and a light wood work surface there is full size fridge freezer, four ring hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher.

There is also a washing machine in the utility room next to the kitchen.

Bedrooms

Both bedrooms, like the rest of the apartment, are air conditioned and each come with their own ensuite bathroom.

The first and larger of the two comes with access onto the balcony, a king size bed with bedside tables and reading lamps either side, a desk, a free-standing mirror and a separate yet attached additional room with a sofa, a fitted wardrobe and space for storage.

The second bedroom has been finished in the same clean, modern style as the rest of the apartment. This room holds a double bed with bedside tables and reading lamps either side, access onto the balcony and a fitted wardrobe.

Bathroom

The first ensuite bathroom for the master bedroom has been finished with large dark grey stone tiles and holds a spacious walk-in shower, vanity unit with mirror and two wash basins, toilet and heated towel rail.

The second ensuite for the second bedroom has been finished with contemporary concrete tiles and holds a walk-in shower, wash basin with mirror and vanity unit.

There is also a separate WC accessed from the hallway.

The advertised nightly price is based on a week stay. You will pay more than the nightly rate for a stay of less than seven days. The longer you stay with us, the better the rate.

How to get there
From the Airport

From the Train Station

By Car

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes approximately 20 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at Jean Medecin from where it's an eight minute walk to the apartment.

We can meet you outside the apartment building, or at the Jean Medecin tram stop at street level by the lift, as you prefer.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville.

From the station, the tram provides a cheap, convenient way to get to your apartment. When you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes and tickets cost 1.50€. Take the tram just two stops down the tramline, less than a five minute journey, and get off at Massena. It is then a three minute walk from Massena to your apartment.

We can meet you at the tram stop or outside the apartment building, as you prefer.

Driving in Nice can be a challenge. We strongly advise GPS or a very good map. A carpark near the apartment Gelato is Parking Vinci Massena at Place Masséna, which is approximately five minutes from the apartment. Parking Grimaldi at 11 Rue Maccarani is another option for parking near to the apartment and requires a walk of about four minutes. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
