Floor/Building

This Nice holiday rental is on the 4th Floor of a traditional building with no lift. The 74 steps up to the apartment are shallow so are on the easy side.

Neighbourhood

Literally minutes from the beach and Promenade des Anglais, this is a great location for a holiday apartment. Boulevard Gambetta, with its abundance of supermarkets and bakeries is right around the corner, and the bustling Pedestrian area is a mere 500 metres away.

For those looking to visit the surrounding area, the train station is just fifteen minutes away, and buses to the Port and Matisse museum stop just two streets up from the apartment.

Living Area

Step into the living room and your eyes can't help but be drawn to the exquisite original chandelier placed fittingly over the dining table, creating the perfect ambiance for entertaining. The wooden dining table is accompanied by four contempory striped chairs.

To the right of the dining area, sitting boldly so as not to be overshadowed by the chandelier, is a stylish yet comfortable two-seater sofa with two low wooden tables on each side. Also for relaxation, you will find two more modest armchairs and a coffee table as well as a TV and DVD player if you fancy a quiet night in.

The workaholics or internet addicts amongst you will be pleased to hear that you have been specifically catered for with the inclusion of a study area .

We also love the fact that this living area has four large windows which ensures lots of natural light, highlighting the beautiful wooden floor.

Kitchen

The kitchen is open plan to the living area and comes with a good sized fridge freezer, four-ring induction hob with extractor fan, oven, microwave and dishwasher.

The washing machine is located in the storage room, just off the living area.

Bedrooms

Both bedrooms are similar in size and, like the rest of the apartment, are tastefully furnished. They come with two bedside tables, elegant reading lamps, luxury curtains and are finished with cushions and artwork.

A travel cot can be nestled into the bedroom space if needed. Travel cots can be ordered from us upon checkout.

The main bedroom, decorated in soft brown hues with touches of colour, has a king size bed and a wardrobe with plenty of hanging space.

Combining natural tones with stronger purples and golds, the second bedroom has a double bed, and walk-in wardrobe with hanging space and a chest of drawers.

Bathroom

Complete with his and hers wash-basins, the bath has an overhead shower attachment and a heated towel rail.

There is a separate WC just next to the main bathroom.

The advertised nightly price is based on a week stay. You will pay more than the nightly rate for a stay of less than seven days. The longer you stay with us, the better the rate.

How to get there

By Car

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes approximately 20 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at the Alsace Lorraine tram stop and it’s a five minute walk to the apartment.

We can meet you outside the apartment building, or at the tram stop at street level by the lift, as you prefer.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville.

From the station, the tram provides a cheap way to get to your apartment. To take the tram, when you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes and tickets cost 1.50€. Take the tram just one stop and get off at Jean Medecin, then change tramlines and disembark at Alsace Lorraine from where it's a five minute walk to the apartment.

We can meet you outside the apartment building, or at the tram stop at street level by the lift, as you prefer.

You may prefer to take a bus to the apartment, which costs 1.50€ per person. To take a bus to the Cosmopolitan apartment, it is best to use the bus number 23, to the Gambetta / Dante stop. From there, it is an easy walk to the apartment that will take about two minutes.

If you wish to take a taxi, the taxi rank is located outside the front entrance of Gare Nice Ville and the journey will take approximately five to ten minutes.

Driving in Nice can be a challenge. We strongly advise GPS or a very good map. A car park near the apartment is Parking Meyerbeer at 3 Rue Meyerbeer, which is a five minute walk to the apartment. Alternatively, parking may be available in Palais Massena at 29 Promenade des Anglais and requires a walk of about five minutes. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
