This holiday rental, right in the heart of the Vieux Nice (Old Town), is on a cobbled street bustling with shops and restaurants. It is less than a minute's walk to the bus and tram stops - very handy for the airport express bus and accessing all transport links to the rest of the Riviera.

An abundance of good restaurants are on your doorstep including a few of our favourites. Stroll through the Old Town and you will reach the beach and Promenade in just five minutes. Place Massena is only a few minutes' walk away in the other direction, so you are also near the main shops.

It is approximately a five minute walk to the nearest supermarket, 15 minutes to the Port and about 25 minutes on foot (or four stops on the tram) to the main Nice Ville train station.

The open plan living and kitchen area has been sympathetically restored. Guests can enjoy the wooden beams, exposed original stonework all blended with a modern renovation to gain the best of both worlds.

There is a large cream leather sofa and wooden console unit which hosts a 40" LCD screen with DVD Cinema system. There is also a Wi-Fi package which includes over five English TV channels (news channels).

The spacious kitchen is equipped with plenty of cream kitchen units, some of which hide the dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. There is an electric four-ring hob with extractor fan, a built in microwave, and an electric oven.

A long wooden worktop runs along three sides, creating plenty of space for preparing meals and offering a breakfast bar with bar stools, perfect for two people to enjoy snacks or a light meal. To better enjoy a Nicois feast, guests can use the large wooden table in the dining area with high backed chairs seating four.

Furnished in classical mahogany, the large bedroom has a double sleigh bed, two bedside tables, four door dresser and wall lights for reading. The walls have been painted white to highlight further examples of the attractive wooden beams and exposed stone.

The uniquely designed, stylish bathroom is laid out over two levels. On the lower level, there is a bath with decorative tiles, and a ceramic wash basin with mirror above. On the upper level there is a separate walk-in rain shower, and also a toilet. The whole bathroom benefits from plenty of natural light from the large French windows.

All prices for this holiday rental apartment in Nice are inclusive of Egyptian cotton linen and towels and utilities for two guests.

The advertised nightly price is based on a week stay. You will pay more than the nightly rate for a stay of less than seven days. The longer you stay with us, the better the rate.
