The apartment is on the 2nd floor of one of Nice's more well-maintained buildings. There is no lift. The apartment is above a lounge bar which only opens at the weekends.

The rental apartment is on one of the main Portside streets. Perhaps it goes without saying but with the great views, this is a popular street for well known and regarded restaurants, bars and nightlife for the more reserved clientele.
The Promenade, beach and Old Town is within a very pleasant 15 minute stroll around the Port. There are excellent local shops and a supermarket on the surrounding streets.
If you want to explore by public transport, the main number 100 bus route goes through the Port on its way to Monaco and the border of Italy and the Riquier train station is a 15 minute walk away. Should you wish to bring a car, there is parking available on the port.

You can enjoy Portside views from the moment you enter the pretty (not shown on photos) entrance hall. Three large windows span the living and dining area. Huge, with high ceilings and impressive artwork adorning most walls, the apartment's living area can't fail to impress and is certainly a room from which you can entertain.

With a designer corner sofa, coffee table, rug, tall lamps and reading lamps and plenty of soft furnishings it will be hard to leave.

For dining there is a round wooden antique table with six high backed upholstered chairs.

For entertainment, there is a 34" LCD screen with with French Cable TV (5 English channels). and a DVD player. There is wi-fi available.

The striking red and grey fitted kitchen contains all the necessary utensils to cook and entertain. Just off the huge living and dining area, the kitchen has a sliding door to close off if preferred or leave open if you prefer open plan living. There is an electric oven, an electric hob, a dishwasher, a microwave, large fridge freezer and an extractor hood.

The kitchen also benefits from Port side views, so you can enjoy the view as you prepare meals and drinks.

The washing machine and tumble dryer are located in a separate utility room.

The large main bedroom is at the back of the apartment and has extra bonuses of a small balcony and a walk in wardrobe. It easily fits a king-size bed, two bedside tables with table lamps, and a dresser with chair. Stylish finishing touches including designer wallpaper on the accent wall, cushions, and a rug adds to the luxury finish. There are shutters and curtains to close out the light at night.

The second bedroom also has a balcony with table and chairs and a double bed. There is decent storage space behind the bed for suitcases but guests shouldn't concern them selves with storage, in the hallway there is a huge walk in wardrobe and storage area. Again, there are curtains and shutters to block out the light at night.

The third bedroom (previously a study) is at the front of the apartment which whilst smaller than the back bedrooms, has the huge advantage of the Port view and balcony with table and chairs, perfect for alfresco dining for two or before dinner drinks, offering a better view than most of the establishments on the same street.

The main bathroom is fully tiled, with a walk-in shower with glass surround, toilet and a wash basin with large mirror and light. There is a second smaller bathroom with a shower cubicle, wash basin and toilet.
